R. G. Kar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata

R. G. Kar Medical College and Hospital is one of the oldest medical college and hospital in Kolkata, West Bengal.

It was formerly affiliated to the prestigious University of Calcutta. From 2003 it is under West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

One of the oldest medical colleges in the city, the college has many achievements to its credit. The Psychiatry Department of R.G. Kar Medical College is the oldest in the entire south East Asia.
