Moon Moon Sen is the daughter of Bengali actress Suchitra Sen, and mother of actresses Riya Sen and Raima Sen. Moon Moon Sen was born into a Bengali family in Calcutta to popular Bengali actress Suchitra Sen and Dibanath Sen.

Has performed in over 20 languages, and has won awards like the Nandi State Award, the Kalakendra Screen Award and the Bharat Nirman Award. She has appeared in 60 films and 40 TV serials.
