B.P.Poddar Institute of Management and Technology (BPPIMT) was established in the year 1999.

Four year B.Tech. courses in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology are conducted in this institute.

The B.P. Poddar Institute of Managment & Technology is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. All the programmes are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
